MCVET is a SNAP Employment & Training Program Provider

We help Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

(SNAP) recipients build skills, gain experience, and achieve

employment goals.

​

Our SNAP Employment & Training (E&T) Program is designed to support individuals receiving SNAP benefits as they prepare for meaningful work. Whether you’re looking to gain new skills, explore a new career path, or overcome barriers to employment, we’re here to help.

​

Through SNAP E&T, participants can access:

  • Job readiness training

  • Vocational education and skills training

  • Work experience opportunities

  • Career counseling and job placement services

  • Specific Training in IT, Culinary, and Certified Peer Support Recovery Specialist

This program is free and voluntary for most participants and is tailored to meet your individual needs and goals. Our mission is to empower you with the resources and confidence needed to secure lasting employment and greater financial independence.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (833) 620-1071, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to:
